Rebecca Inyang

Rebecca Inyang is Co-Founder and Director of SureRest, and she brings to it a lifetime's grounding in funeral care and in serving families with dignity. She is also CEO and Director of Romaco Funeral Directors, a funeral home her family established in 1993. In 2024 she took over its leadership, investing in its renovation and modernisation to raise its standards of care and service to the community.

Rebecca grew up between two worlds that shape how SureRest works today: healthcare, through a family with a long medical tradition, and funeral care, through her mother's work at Romaco. From an early age she saw at first hand what it means to support people with compassion and dignity at their most vulnerable moments, and that understanding sits at the heart of how SureRest cares for every family it serves.

She also carries a strong family legacy of entrepreneurship through her late grandmother, Chief Mrs Rose Akpata, a widely respected businesswoman and the founder of Romaco Trading Company, whose resilience and integrity continue to guide Rebecca's leadership today.
