• Your relationship to the deceased
• The location your loved one is travelling from
• The destination in Nigeria

We do not collect payment card information through this website. We do not collect sensitive personal data beyond what you choose to share in your message.

3. Why we collect it and how we use it

We collect this information to respond to your enquiry and, where you engage our services, to coordinate the repatriation on your behalf. Specifically, we use your information to:

• Contact you in response to your enquiry
• Understand the details of your situation so we can help
• Coordinate with overseas funeral homes and Nigerian authorities on your behalf
• Send you updates about the progress of your case

We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

4. How your submission is processed

Enquiry forms on this website are processed via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), an email and CRM service provider. Your submission is transmitted to Brevo's servers in order to deliver your message to our team and enable us to respond. Brevo processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy and applicable data-protection law.

Beyond Brevo, your information is not shared with other third parties except where strictly necessary to carry out the repatriation service you have requested (for example, sharing relevant details with the overseas funeral home or Nigerian airport authorities as part of coordinating your case).

5. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with any applicable legal obligations. Once the information is no longer required, we delete it securely.

6. Our lawful basis and international transfers

Where data-protection law (such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act or, for visitors in the UK and EU, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR) applies, we rely on the following lawful bases: your consent when you send us an enquiry; the performance of a contract when you engage our services; and our legitimate interest in responding to and coordinating your request with care.

Because repatriation is international by nature, some information may be transferred across borders, for example to an overseas funeral home, or to our email provider Brevo, to deliver the service you have asked for. We only transfer what is necessary and expect recipients to protect it in line with applicable law.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to delete your information (the right to erasure)
• Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it
• Ask us to provide your information in a portable format
